“Training and Empowerment Programme for Young Mothers”

“Training and Empowerment Programme for Young Mothers” is a series of workshops geared to young and expectant mothers. This group meets once a month and with a new topic being introduced at each session. Subjects such as literacy, parenting and nutrition have engaged the participants encourage them to be empowered. The programme also seeks to mentor as well as provide information along with items such as clothing and books to these young and expectant mothers Gifts for the group are received from various vendors and private donors to augment the workshops.
